We collect account information when you sign in using Google (and soon Apple), including your name, email address, and a unique ID. This information is stored securely to manage your account and device configurations.
Payment information is handled by Stripe. We do not store any credit card details on our servers. Stripe provides us with your customer ID and subscription status so we can manage billing.
Our hardware devices collect data such as ambient light levels and images taken by the device. When a potential scorpion is detected, the image is uploaded to our server for further analysis. This data includes timestamps and detection logs, which are used to improve the accuracy and reliability of our system.
We may collect anonymous usage data from the mobile app to help improve performance and features. This may include data collected via Firebase or Expo analytics, if enabled.
If you contact us for support, we collect the information you provide, such as your email address and a description of your issue, so we can assist you.
We use your data to provide and maintain our services, send push notifications, manage subscriptions, improve device reliability, offer customer support, and inform you about important updates.
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We only share information with trusted third parties required to provide the Service: Stripe (for payments), Firebase (for authentication and notifications), AWS (for secure image processing and storage), and legal authorities if required by law.
We take data security seriously. All communication between your app, devices, and our servers is encrypted via HTTPS. Sensitive data is encrypted and only accessible to authorized personnel. Uploaded images are deleted after processing unless needed for performance improvement.
